Terry has over 12 years of experience in communications, public affairs, and journalism, with extensive experience in government relations, public engagement, and environmental services. With this involvement, he is familiar with lead generation, website management, branding, content creation, and social media marketing. 

He currently serves as the Communications Director for the WV Department of Environmental Protection (2019-present), after three years as a Public Information Specialist with the agency (2016-2019). In this role, he cultivates relationships with journalists and stakeholders, helping to build partnerships and promote brand awareness, while overseeing social media and public outreach efforts. He also facilitates public meetings for the agency, connecting with citizens and communities and effectively communicating complex issues.
